On the way home yesterday I picked up a free newspaper that is mostly advertising. The headline, "Wird Deutschland Weltmeister?" made me think that maybe the hawks do have a point – Germany isn’t even reunified yet and already they’re speculating about being world masters! Then I saw the picture that went with the story – it’s about soccer!
[It later turned out that the answer was affirmative.]
